Steen Klysner new CEO in Nordic Vaccine

(28.2.2007) Steen Klysner leaves senior management of Pharmexa to join the bio-pharmaceutical company Nordic Vaccine as CEO from March 1, 2007.

Steen Klysner will assist the company continue the development of vaccine drugs  and help Nordic Vaccine complete it’s next round of funding

The investment round targets two international investors and will be used to for the further expansion plans of the Danish bio-pharmaceutical company on international markets.

“The next round of funding is expected to be quite significant and will include al existing  investors” explains SEED Capital Partner Carsten Schou. They are SEED Capital, Vækstfonden and Coloplast.

Nordic Vaccine develops prophylactic vaccines based on immune- stimulating nano-particles. The area of expertise behind Nordic Vaccine has proven very attractive in international bio tech. communities and the interest in the transdermal compound TransVac is already significant.

 “Nordic Vaccine fills out a big gap and need on international markets” as Steen Klysner explains in the financial news of Børsen, as a reason for his interest in the company
