Seed Capital
Fullrate Sold to TDC

(13.3.2009) SEED Capital sells Fullrate shares. A textbook example of a successful venture investment

Friday SEED Capital - together with the rest of the Fullrate shareholders - entered into an agreement to sell Fullrate A/S to TDC. With this exit SEED Capital proves that realizing very successful and profitable investments in the Danish venture market are still feasible.

"We have been involved in Fullrate since its start-up in 2005, and we can look back upon an immensely successful process," says partner in SEED Capital, Lars Andersen,, who for several years has been a member of the board, as well as the chairman of Fullrate, during the crucial phase of the sale to TDC.

Within a few years the company has grown from idea and entrepreneurial stage to currently handling a customer base of 80,000, a turnover of DKK 180 million and a profit of DKK 35 million (EBITDA).

"Fullrate is a textbook example of how SEED Capital can fill out its role in the Danish venture environment. Together with Fullrate's competent founders we have been able to contribute to the idea behind the company, its establishment, development and finally maturation. It is presently an extremely sound company with a tenured and innovative management team, which we can now pass onto new challenges", continues Lars Andersen.

"The sale of Fullrate generates very satisfactory profit for the investors in SEED Capital. We wish to continue as players in the Danish venture market to identify, support and run new companies, just as successful - to the benefit of the companies and our investors," Lars Andersen concludes.
